But mostly we were missing you. We hope this is the last Christmas we will spend away from our families. Despite getting to watch Miracle on 34th Street and Fred Flintstone's inspired portrayal of Scrooge, Christmas at a hotel just doesn't cut it.
Needless to say we are quite excited for Sandy's promised Christmas when we return--with spritz and peanut blossom cookies! Whoo hoo! The gingerbread cookies here are delicious though...
Unfortunately this internet cafe is closing and I don't have time to do justice to Romania. I hope these pictures will give you a taste of what we're seeing. More about Dracula later!

You both look healthy and chilly! Family Christmas in Hibbing was another festive event and you were both missed! It is amazing to think that as this year comes to a close you have traveled and learned more about others and their cultures then most dream of. A few months spent with open minds and open hearts have done you wonders (as the pictures prove) know that we are anxious to get you home to hear more on the travels first hand. There are somethings that the computer can not relay about your travels. Have a Happy New Year and a glass of .....(whatever they drink) on that day... Kisses to you both at midnight!

Happy New Year!!!! We missed you two terribly at Christmas, and we are all anxiously awaiting your return.. We will have to have a big family get together once you get back. Michael the beard actually does look great on you, almost 29 years and that is the first time I have seen one on ya!!! Keep on enjoying your travel.... love ya.
